This yummy dressing is so easy. Other than frying a few pieces of
bacon, you don't need to prepare anything. All of the ingredients go
into your food processor and it's done! I mean...how much easier can
that be? You can use this on sandwiches but we used it on a salad. I
served this along with a homemade pizza but IT Guy said he liked the
dressing better than the pizza! You could have knocked me over! Make
sure you leave in the fridge for several hours...or overnight is best!!!
Bacon Sour Cream Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
6 tablespoons heavy cream
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
4 slices cooked bacon ~ crumbled
Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
Allow to sit for a few hours or overnight for flavors to blend.
Welcome!
Welcome to Simple Fare, Fairly Simple. This is a place for me to post recipes of all kinds...along with other miscellaneous fodder from my so-called life here in the south. Who knows what you will find here. Could be anything from my husband...known as IT Guy...to my kids and beautiful grandbabies that are growing up way too fast right before my eyes. But...mostly this will be a place for food. I hope you'll see something you like and if you decide to try something from the list...leave me a comment and let me know!
