Brown Sugar Chewies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
4 eggs – beaten
2 ¼ cups brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash salt
Beat the eggs and brown sugar together until creamy. Add the vanilla. Stir in the flour, cinnamon and salt. Add chopped nuts.
Pour batter into a 12 x 15 inch rimmed cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 20 minutes. Glaze.
Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix all together and pour over warm cookies. Let icing cool and harden then cut into bars.
Makes about 24 bars.
